What I always hear about what things cost in California makes a country hick like me think all Californians are RICH! 😁

Filed up in Des Moines for $2.999 for E10. A lot of stations publicize their E15 price which is cheaper, but I can't burn it in my '90 Ford van, which I was driving.

    Diesel fuel was $4.179.

Cheapest gas within 50 miles for me is like a mile away from home, $3.11 cash and $3.16 credit for 87 octane as of last night. Most other places around here are at $3.26-$3.46 range and most don't care whether you pay cash or credit, it's the same price either way.

$ 3.79 in western Illinois, down from

$3.85 a couple weeks ago. Are strategic oil reserve is down also, more than 65% has been used up to artificially lower prices, soon it will be gone.

In 2020 barrel of oil was $42 a barrel, now it’s around $87 a barrel. Trump was wise to replenish it when it was low. What do you think it will cost now to bring it back up to 750 million barrels reserve again?

I paid $1.85 for propane in central IN last week. With winter approaching that price won't last long.

$3.15 plus a $1.00 off at Kroger. So $2.15. Per gallon for plain ole unleaded. Reminder of the good ole days before clueless Joe

Wow, I havent seen a price that low in years. We normally pre buy in the summer for cheaper prices. Just added a 2nd tank, so thats how I know the current price. Even during the summer(last summer too) it was over $2.70 a gallon.

I don't even care about the fuel price statement, I want to know what the heck is a," frog in a pot" expression???? Never heard that expression before yosh. Gas here is 3.29 this afternoon. Not quite an arm and a leg, or frog in a pot , yet, I guess. LOL

mike55, I paid $2.40 last March so it will probably higher than that this winter.

Put a frog in a pot of cold water . Turn on the burner and gradually raise the temp. Frog will stay right there and boil to death . Too stupid to understand what is happening to them

    @...: https://forums.gunbroker.com/discussion/1913179/fuel-prices-october-2023

The regular at my local Chevron was $6.00. A dip from $6.18 I paid earlier in the month. Also I'd like to add no one makes peep about the silly price here. I guess the story about a frog in a pot is true.

CA has the highest state tax on gas in the USA, plus each county & municipality can levy a tax on gas. You dont here a peep from the media because it makes DEMOCRATs look bad.

Another geezer and I were talking while filling our vehicles yesterday.Gas prices are down the lowest in a while and usually when there is a war or conflict in the middle east, gas jumps at least a dollar a gallon.

@austin20 We fill up at Kroger also & bring at least 4 - 5 gal containers on a carrier. Others have their pickup bed filled with containers. +++

We can always cut back on driving. Eating and heating fuel not so much. BTW a McDonalds just closed in our town, must be that $20.00 minimum wage law that was passed.

3:40 time mark. Oil Companies are screwing us not our governor. I'd like to get the regular blend and not this "unique" California blend.
