I just watched a rerun on youtube , Jed and Jethro shooting from the cement pond to a board with nails in it leaned against a tree they told granny it was about a hundred yards, the camera zoomed in on it then
jed looked it over and said no need for a rifle too easy , so he pulled out a pistol and said no still too easy then Jed said lets ricochet the bullets off the rock and to the nails
however think about it all the old TV and movies stereotyped southerners as being expert marksmen.
( but really if you had to hunt to eat I guess you would get good or go hungry LOL )

Noting like the smell of tons of chicken poop dumped in a field and getting a rain lol
We live in the country and just a small inconvenience a couple Tiimes a year to put up with the smell is still better than neighbors in town
Our farmer buddies just say" smells like money to me" LOL

I raised chickens commercially for over 30 years .Three broiler houses holding 12000 birds each . That generates a lot of poop . Gotta go somewhere .
