College football/Georgia/ updates
Man do my Bulldogs look bad this year. We also loss Brock Bowers and a couple of our starters today. Yeah, we won, but played bad against Vanderbilt!!!!!!. I know a loss is coming soon, I can feel it. Alabama stunk up the place today too, but also pulled out a close one against Arkansas. Washington and Oregon are putting on a show. Great game. TCU finally found life this week as well as Penn State. Kansas and OSU got a barn burner going on, as well as Florida and South Carolina. Hope some of you guys are enjoying the college football season as well. Forget the NFL, College is where it is at!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sure miss the bets I use to have with Capt. Fun, when Georgia played Georgia Tech. He always paid his debts, cause he always lost to me. 🤣. I miss having him around to converse with. Great guy. Hopefully he reads this, and I get to meet him someday, to take him out to lunch. Oakie

Meanwhile, in the background the Wolverines quietly stomped the daylight out of the Hoosiers, 52 - 7. Michigan even let their backup quarterback, former Indiana player Jack Tuttle, lead the gang down the field for Michigans final touchdown. Going to be a long 6 weeks before they play the Buckeyes and I hope they stay focused. Bob

Went to bed last night with Colorado up 29-0. Woke up and discovered they lost 46-43 in OT. Discussing this morning with #4 and pointed out this was a good life lesson. Never count your chickens until they hatch.
