Regrets
I've never regretted buying a firearm but I have regretted everyone I ever sold.

The only firearm purchase that I ever regretted was a Rossi 62 Winchester clone. Neither Rossi warranty service or a local good gunsmith could ever get it working properly. Sold it for more than I had in it and was happy to see it go.
My only other firearm regrets come from the famous coulda, woulda, shoulda syndrome. The one I mentioned in oakie's 256 topic about me turning down NIB Ruger Hawkeye handguns for about half of wholesale was only one of many of my firearms oops. If we learn from our mistakes, I must be pretty damn wise. 🤗 Bob

I had a lovely Colt Officer's Match with bull barrel once and sold it because it was only a .38 Special. Idiot.
I did kill a deer with it, though. Little 75-lb Florida spike walked right under my tree stand. A 158-gr SWC vertically between his shoulder blades at a range of about five feet. DRT.

I regretted purchasing a Taurus PT-92. Never could get it on target, sent back to the factory twice. Got rid of it without any regrets !!

Regrets I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each chartered course
Each careful step along the by-way
And more, much more than this
I did it my way 😋

I believe that was - "Old Blue Eyes". I had a Model 788 in 30-30 caliber - that I sold through "Locust Fork' - AKA - Kasey McKay - because I had a Marlin lever action and a Savage 24. I have no idea of what I was thinking at the time - but I certainly came to regret it. I got a little smarter and kept the Model 788 in 44 magnum.
Best Regards - AQH

Too many regrets to list here.

Two I regretted in selling. My Raging Hornet and Raging bee. I sold them to buy a couple of Marlin 1894fg 41 magnums, so I made out. One I regretted buying the most was, A Remington 700 CDL 17 fireball. I could shoot my foot if I had the barrel pressed against it. Sold it for 200 more than I paid, and bought the same model in 257 Roberts.

I had a couple of Taurus pistols that I regreted buying but not disposing of.How can you go wrong with a lifetime warranty, because no matter how many times the go back for repair, they come back as bad or worse.

Me? It was two ATI .45 1911's.
(Forge was kind enough to try and help me.) The Commander model would not function more than 2-3 rounds withought jamming. Hundreds of rounds.(The other was a USGI Model.) Tried several High end mags. Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, etc. etc. (All with 230 Ball.) Was so disgusted, I sold both of them. The only Firearms (new) I've ever owned that refused to function. Bye Felicia.

I almost forgot, Worst gun I ever owned and will sell soon......My Kimber pro carry II 45. Biggest piece of junk ever produced. Gun blew apart on fifth round fired out of it. Kimber sent me a new gun. That one would not accept more than 7 round, when it was supposed to except 8.. Sent it back, replaced. New one won't chamber right. Been back three times. I recently took it out to shoot again and it had a problem with the firing pin striking. Yes, I sent the ammo I was using, factory ammo, with the gun to Kimber. This thing is gone when I go to the Oaks gun show next weekend, even if I take a loss. Reason for buying the new S&W. One thing I will say, the lady in customer service was fantastic to deal with and she kept me updated on the process. Shame the guns were junk. Not her fault. I own three Kimbers as of right now.

Too many to list
But just off the top of my head
Several colt 46 acp gold cups one blue and the others stainless
Colt gold cup 10mm delta
A couple colt troopers in 357
A lot of S&W revolvers and semi automatics
And the list of cars is just as bad considering the recent prices

The only regret I had was not getting my degree in college. As it turned out I didn't need it.

I regret selling off my Khar K40 to fund the Springfield M-25 purchase. Took way too long to sell (pre-panic buy before covid). If I didn't have to re-paper to get the pistol back I would have. Basically all stainless single stack Glock in .40S&W.
Just recently found a Haart's Mercury Recoil Guide Rod for it.
