I think that it has awakened some folks, who might have been on the fence to begin with. But for the most part the sheep are still going to be sheep. Typically, it takes being personally harmed for real change in thought process to happen.

It already has affected things .Jewish folks ,many of them lifelong liberals are signing up in droves for handgun shooting courses and buying guns. Israel has relaxed gun laws to enable the average citizen to purchase a gun
