Mom - (Update.)
For those that have followed along with some of my Prayer requests for my 94 yr old Mother.
My Sister, just called me and broke down on the phone. Mom is being removed from the Rehab facility by Ambulance for severe Pneumonia and Parkinson's Induced Hallucinations and Paranoia.
She will be placed in a Step Down Unit.
My Sister sobbing, I told her If I ever get to that point, it's time to go. She agreed. We have all been nightly Praying for that. My Sister - "This has been Hell."
Spoke to my Mom, last several days. She has Hallucinated and insisted/telling my Sister that I am Dead. My Sister got me on the phone, several times with her, to show her I was not. It was very chaotic on the phone w/her yesterday. It's just Sad.

My prayers are for you and your sister and any other family as well Ken. I know how painful this is, having experienced it a few times. Know that your Mother is in a better place and no longer suffering any pain and sorrow. God will take good care of her in her new life. May he be with you all.

Ken, I'm proud of the way you and your sister handled the situation. So many old folks die alone.
She's now free from pain and any other issues she had.

Condolences sent to you and her family. I was with both of my parents when they passed. After the chaos of the funeral and initial grief, take your sister to a quiet and peaceful place and just hold each other's hand and say that you did what you could to help Mom leave this earth the best way you could. Peace be with you!

so sorry to hear about the huge loss to your family
I know every one says it but at least her pain and suffering are over
my parents and in in-laws have all departed and every time took a piece of or hearts with them
even though we know they're at peace its never easy
may you family find comfort in each other
