I'm not a veteran, but it seems like someone would have to maintain that equipment. Those goat roapers don't have the skills.

I think somebody's funnin' somebody. Ain't no way our gov't could get all that equipment for $7.12 billion. More like the $80 billion we were told when they were pulling out.

Carrying an AK in various locations around the World also helps Spec Ops types garner less attention. (While dressed in Ethnic garb with beards, longer hair etc.)
My BIL and his "Protection detail," operated in this fashion in Afghanistan. Way out in the Boonies.

l will take an AK any day. A 123gr bullet is twice the weight of a 62gr 556x45 rd. 50% more surface area. 556 is a great varmint ctg. Nothing more....
