It has the capability to ignore missiles that aren't deemed a hazard and only lock onto the ones that might land on a military target or civilians. Impressive tech that saves it's ammo for the more dangerous targets. When somebody throws that many missiles at you that can be important. Hamas claims they fired 5000 missiles and my question is where did they come from and who paid for them? Makes one wonder how many they have left? Bob

I found some info from 2 years ago that the estimate then was 30,000 rockets. So you may be close since they have had 2 more years to build up the stockpile. Most crafted in Gaza and have a range of 10 - 150 miles. Most if not all are unguided, but surprisingly accurate. Hamas can't build all the components and in 2019 the Hamas leader was quoted as thanking Iran.
Most of the rockets are stored in amongst civilians and Israel, being civilized, has chosen in the past not to go after them. Perhaps this latest Hamas attack will change that and the gloves will come off. Bob

Intercepting $19 rockets with 250k missiles is impressive but an unsustainable enterprise. Overwhelm with more rockets/mortars run out of missiles either way not cost effective. Let’s support those under attack and damn the agents that started this attack against innocents(maybe funded by the 6 billion to Iran last month)

If you look at the pictures of the 2 twin falling building on TV it appears the structural support columns were blasted at ground level with pre-placed explosives. The enemy (PLO) has infiltrated the holy land and the same is surely going on on our very own Southern border but Biden and Kamala does nothing,.....damn them both.

Now that "The Gloves Are Off." (And) Israel is Actively conducting Airstrikes in Gaza. "Flattening Mosques, because they are being used to launch Missiles from." Hamas is being incredibly Stupid. Watching the News you can see missile trails coming up from Gaza 10,15, 20 from the same location. Talk about a big Flag saying "Strike Here." Not very bright. I believe the Israeli's are going to start accomidating them.
The main reason they have relyed on the "Iron Dome," is that it allowed Israel the ability to down these missiles without striking Civilian areas where they are being launched.
They (the Israeli's) can now Strike these areas with impunity, and go right to the source, as opposed to having to utilize (expensive) missiles to hit the incoming missiles one at a time.

It isn't the comparative cost of the weapons that matters. It's the cost of not intercepting the incoming ones and allowing them to kill innocents.

Well Rocky, Hamas has now removed that particular obstacle.
Israel is now taking out various Missile launch sites, via Airpower with Impunity. (Including Mosques, that have been used as Missile Launch sites.) I cheer, everytime I see a large explosion in Gaza. 👍

The rocket attacks are meant to do more than just physical damage they are also fired to inflict emotional damage (terror) onto the population.

They have now hardened the Hearts of the Israeli's, by virtue of the Atrocities inflicted upon them. They will now have no reservation, in eradicating Hamas in the Gaza strip.

Any People that have commited the Atrocities, these People have commited, in the last several days, can not claim to have a God. They are a Godless people. (And) They will get what they deserve and have precipitated/provoked.
Not sure what you have heard. (But) What I have heard, has hardened my Heart. (As I am sure) It has also done with the Israeli People. The Hamas/Gaza people will reap what they have sown. They will find, they "Have Awoken a Giant and Filled Him With Terrible Resolve."
They have totally screwed up. (And) Will be finding that out, very shortly.
