Don't forget the long pants and shirts with a jacket, then dump the jacket and then dump the pants and shirt for shorts and a tee, then back to the pants and shirt.

What is this Central Air you speak of? Either the furnace is on or the furnace is off. I know everything is different for those down south below the bridge.

It was 90 here yesterday afternoon and 57 last night. The other day it was 85 during the day and 46 at night. South Jersey fall!!!! This is why we don't bow hunt until late October to early November. My truck fills up with hoodies this time of year.

51 to 71 here today. We have begun our winter pattern of a storms every third day or so. Rainy at first, then snowy as we enter November. In between it's glorious with perfectly clear air, cobalt skies, and blazing foliage.

Finishing up my summer to winter clothes swap today. Will have lots of stuff to donate/toss. Might go get a few gallons of non-ethanol gas for the blower, too.

Yes, October in Michigan, 40s or maybe 50s at night, 60s in the day, and I wouldn't trade it for Arizona even if I could afford to.

Ran the air conditioner yesterday for the last time this year, and covered it up last night. Had the furnace in the work room serviced Thursday, cleaned the house furnace and cold air registers today. Now itโ€™s just a matter of waiting until the weather changes while heading to the dark side of the moon I guess you could say. 168 days till spring.

Hoping for a hard frost to knock down some of the stink bug and bee activity. Got stung four times last week, the stinkers are everywhere looking for a winter hideout.

+1 on those dang stink bugs! Although they have calmed down the last few days from the dozens that were on every window screen earlier in the week. The skunks have pretty much dug up all my ground bees over the last couple of weeks and I've had to fill in all the holes in the lawn, but that beats getting stung while mowing. Strangely, we have had very few mosquitoes this year until a couple of weeks ago. It's o.k. if I keep moving, but stop to do some chore and the little blood suckers swarm all over me. So yeah, that first frost will be welcome. Bob
