CoolFire Trainer
So, I was watching a vid on these things last night. Man, does this look like an awesome tool. Works with YOUR gun. Just replaces the bbl.
It ain't super cheap at around 300 smacks for the barrel replacement, and then you need the CO2 hookup. Packages start at $389 and on up to $990. So yah, not cheap but you can train with a live fire feel with your gun in your house!

If I recall correctly, @Warbirds put in a couple of such trainers in his house.
Don't think we ever got a 'range report' on them though.

I usually skip over post like these with videos, But the one you posted about the survival shovel was great. I ordered one off amazon for my son. He does a lot of camping out in the pines. I know he is going to love it. One of the best post in a long time. Thanks Mr. P for turning me on to it. Oakie

I didn't watch the whole video but I will say If the guy can afford to live in a house like that one, he can afford to buy ammo and go to the range

Now that is an innovative idea. I would be curious how it works. The firing pin must activate a valve that allows gas to escape and drive a piston reward. Sort of using the principle the Colt ace service model employed with the floating chamber to give the feel of a center fire cartridge. Ingenious really.

Yep, and it also activates a laser.
