Grandkids!!
So 3 of them are up and I'm going thru some old boxes. A small one had a bunch of old "shoe horns" in it. One of them says "Didn't they use to go with old shoes"!! After giving it some thought I guess the vast majority of shoes today really don't require a shoe horn🤨

I have a long stainless steel one. My great granddaughter likes to throw it on the floor and hear it clang. I say "I'll spank your butt." She takes it and spanks her own butt. Then goes running off laughing.

yep, they even have slip on shoes now with a 'built in' shoe horn.
The old days- a shoe store would have a box of horns on the counter for you take one.

Grand kids are truly a gift
One of my nicknames as a kid was buster brown due to having long her was my only guess
As for shoe horns I think there is a couple around here been in a drawer for years but now having a bad lower back they come in handy now Lil

I went to the local shoe store and bought a pair of Sketcher shoes (Slip Ins) with the built-in shoe horn. I love them.

It is a wonder any of us have grandchildren!!
Those X-ray machines were all pointing up at those young undeveloped gonads. It is a miracle all of us of our age didn't fry our testes to the point we were sterile!!😂
