Was Black Friday lacking?
While out and about looking for stocking stuffer DVDs I didn't see many people shopping. I wonder how the shops did. Was it a black Friday or more like brick brown Friday bordering on red brick Friday?

I think many shoppers were sitting at home do the internet thing.
A couple of the stores I have done the 'Black Friday' sale melee' thing at didn't have an in-store BF sale this year(they phased such things out during the China flu). Last few years, it's all internet and most wasn't a great price either.

The figure I saw being used over the weekend was that "Black Friday" sales were up 7.5%. (Who knows if that was true or not.) Having worked "Retail," as a Manager for over 23 years, the very last thing I want to do, is go out in a melee like that.
I shop off the Internet now.
*Bought a Living Room Furniture deal yesterday on "Cyber Monday."

Two things: Cyber Monday is now a bigger deal, and "Black Friday" now starts the day after Halloween and goes all of November. Makes sense, since Christmas season now starts the day after Labor Day.

I didn't go shopping. No need when when I can do the exact same thing online.
The local gun store had a 10% off sale on Saturday but they didn't have anything I wanted that was also in my price range.

My E-Mail In box has had a couple pages of messages from just about every place I have browsed upon online!!
99.9% of those places have continued even today to tell me they have extended their Black Friday sales!
One of my worst nightmare's is to become BAIT for money hungry fishermen......er....salesmen!

I buy mag extensions from Taran Tactical every year on Black Friday.
Every year they are 50% off.
This year they were only 30% off.
Not sure if that’s because he’s all Hollywood famous or what but I decided I didn’t need any extra at that price point.

Only black Friday shopping I saw was on the news in San Franciso, & New York, & I am pretty sure none of them stopped to pay on the way out.

Not feeling that great but will try to post a little. Came home from spending Thanksgiving with daughter on Black Friday. Traffic on Rt28 Kingston/NYS Thruway was very light. When I got to Harriman exit traffic backed all the way to Thruway. I finally made it to the Central Valley exit and 5 troop cars had shut it down. Woodbury Commons (huge factory outlet stores) could not handle anymore. Troopers were routing cars to next exit (Monroe) and turning them around. Woodbury Commons is a little over 50 miles from NYC. The tourist love that place and the Japanese go nuts over it. Don't know if they were buying but they sure were arriving. Took me forever to get home only 4 miles away.
Meanwhile little Willie Jr. could care less, snoozing away right next to me. ------------------------------Ray

The days of Brick and Mortar stores are over. most people just order off the internet, sit home, and wait for the package to arrive. My Russian bride comes tomorrow, if anyone was interested. Wonder if they accept returns, just in case???🤔

Sure they were Japanese and not Chinese? As you know they look a like.
As for the Russian mail order brides do they still include free shippings on 35 and older and a case of vodka? If you drink the vodka there's no returnsies or exchanges.

My Black Friday, i did ok with a 6.5 Grendel upper from Bear Creek, to have on hand when the need be. and have ammo for it. storage for now, tho.

I'd get a box of rounds (at least) to run it to make sure there are no issue with it. Hate for you to run out of free warranty only to find out it needs money to fix.
Reminds me of the time I told my friend who bought a Kriss Vextor CRB along with me that there was a bolt issue. Dude did nothing then ended up having to fork over money for them to fix it. Then again he does work for PG&E so he got that kind a money?
