While we were eating dinner
a herd of 7 does and buck strolled through our backyard headed for the east woods.
This is the first time we've seen any deer in about 4-5 days.

They have been walking though our place late most evenings. Sometimes they stop at the cattle waterer on the way thought the coral..

All summer we were seeing deer, both does with fawns and bucks every day. When firearms season started 2 weeks ago, they vanished in the daytime. I did see a small buck and 2 does when I drove in the other day but that's all I've laid eyes on. Had about an inch of snow yesterday and can see a bunch of tracks from the overnight visitors, so I know they are still around. Bob

There are several fewer walking around my place today than there were a couple weeks back.😲
