Pretty rough overall, but it has some markings on it that maybe Nazi proofs?

Can any of you properly identify and describe this old pistol?

The eagle over the 77 is a Nazi proof mark. I don't think any complete records survived the war but I think it may have been made in 44. My brother acquired one 20 years ago and detailed info is hard to find. Bob

Seems to me that the radom and the cz75 were about the only other handguns that Jeff cooper semi approved of outside of his 1911.
