My sister-in-law must have things 'just so' whenever she hosts a gathering. She can get wound uncomfortably tight about such things. Were I to do something like that I'm afraid I'd be putting my life in jeopardy!

I pumpkin pie I ate was so good, I went back for 2nd's. Had to get up and take a couple of Rolaids later that night! 😶
forge, I consider your pie photo a form of modern art. Most folks that lived in the time during the life of Van Gogh didn't appreciate his creations either and he died a pauper. If you could only preserve it like they do with FRUIT CAKES, in a couple hundred years you'd not only become famous but rich as well! 😁
