Help identify Redfield receiver sight fit
Looking to identify and or verify what rifle this Redfield receiver sight might fit. I estimate a round-contour receiver of approximately 1.5 in diameter would match inner curve. It seems designed to mount on the right side of the receiver. Mounting holes in sight base measure approximately .625 in. The sight has coin slots for adjustment, with clicks at increments. I measured receiver of my Winchester Model 70 and Remington 700, as well as a large-ring Mauser, all appear slightly smaller dimension. It appears to be about the same contour as the rounded right side of my Springfield 03-A3. I intend to list and sell the sight, so would like to be accurate in its applicability in description. I don't see any model or part number anywhere on the sight. Any help appreciated.

the Springfield, Mauser, and jap. all use the same right side mounted receiver sight. I believe Lyman called theirs the smj. the lower radius is so you don't have to notch the stock.

I just checked, I have a Danzig 98 (Mauser) with a Lyman 57SME which mounts on the right side.
