I was in grade school 2nd grade. My teacher was called to the office and came back in tears with the news. A TV set was brought in and we watched all of the happenings from the classroom. All were sent home early that day.

7th grade. Teacher went to the door talked to someone, came back sat on his desk facing the class and said, “the president has been shot”. I remember thinking, why would someone want to do that.

As I was 28 months old, I'm not sure what I was doing.

I was home in the little town of New Madison, Ohio. There is no way I could go all the way there and back without my parents going ballistic. So they can't pin it on me.

On Nov. 22 1967 I was on my way to college when a State Patrolman pulled me over for speeding. As I sat in his cruiser a car went by and honked its horn, The cop asked me "I wonder what that was all about" I said that was my girlfriend. I'm probably going to hear about this for weeks on end. He just laughed, handed me my ticket, and told me to slow down.

Came home from 2nd. grade. Was a nice fall day and had walked to school. My mother was on the couch, sobbing.

She said," The president is dead ! He was assassinated! "

Remember it well. I was sick and was home from 4th grade that day. TV was never during the day at our house.

I convinced my mother at lunch time to turn on TV and I would lay on the couch for a while.

After hearing the news I don’t think the TV was ever turned off that day until late evening and was on quite a bit the 3 days.

I had just dropped a General off at Stewart AFB. The MP at Washington Gate at West Point stopped me and told me the sad news.

I think the next day below there was a Bn. formation. 1st. Bn. 1st Battle Group, 1st Inf. Div. That's my Hq. Co. in the lead. I am amongst the many. Drum beat and we stood in silence for an eternity. Our Commander in Chief was gone. I think there is a special name for this. i am sorry I have forgotten it. I have dust in my eyes just from looking at this picture. ------------------------------Ray

Beyond Roswell in 1947, That is the point, where the Federal Government REALLY, started lying to the American public.

Warren Commission, was a Joke. "Nothing to see here, move along now."
