I used a big chunk of my Gov't Stimulus Check to buy enough black powder to last me the rest of my years!

Also have enough pure lead to pave a sidewalk!

Say can't you just make black powder? Salt peter from meat curing, charcoal (a guy I know was yapping once about pine charcoal) and sulphur.

Back in my reloading days, I made enough ammo to last the rest of my life, So far, so good. 😁

Yes you can. We used to make it when we were kids.

Not nearly the quality you get from Goex, Swiss, Elephant....et el. And most important.....not as dangerous as the do it yourself stuff!!

Not sure, but Underwood has 28% off, now thru Sunday, so that will change the annual number.

When Obama took office, I loaded up enough rifle shells to last me the rest of my life. I've loaded pistol rounds and bought .22 Rimfire as well as .22 WMR. I may have spent $200.00 in the past year on ammo and reloading supplies.

Honestly I am not certain. I simply take solace in that I reload all my center-fire rifle cartridges, so that gives me some solace that I'm saving money on it.

I think I only spent about 195 bucks on one case of 45s. I mostly reload, but when I need ammo, I get right from a distributor/friend of mine at wholesale. I also do the maintenance on his hvac systems in his office and warehouse. When I finish, I usually find a couple of cases of ammo in my truck, as payment.

I like it. I also accept the currency of men.
