Winchester model 12 trench?

Looking at this model 12 guys says it’s a trench gun what you guys think? He wants 700 dollars for it. Or is it a riot gun. Thanks

  Model 12 riot gun. The trench gun would have a heat shield and a bayonet lug. The military in WW2 bought a lot of riot guns for things like base security. Bob
