Living in Missouri I have gotten caught up in the KC Chiefs hoopla the last few years...(although I am still a Chicago Bear fan). Some folks I know are into both the Chiefs and Taylor Swift. One of them recently said she is just looking for fodder for her next album as they all seem to be centered around who she broke up with recently !

I love the snipits of the Kelce brother's podcasts....they are a HOOT....the older brother is just too much fun. His family is so pretty....all those girls!

Swift and Kelce can't break up now.....not ever....all the fans would just die. They are stuck with each other forever....and ever....and ever.

I would rather watch my grass grow.😉 That is just me. 🤔 I don't find her attractive and really don't care for any of her music. They are a cute couple I guess.

I saw some little thing the other day where she stated she was "not pretty, not gorgeous or sexy....but she would describe herself as smart, creative and hard working." Which made me like her a lot more. After seeing how she handled the horrible way she was done with her previous music and realizing she kept the artistic license for her songs so she could re-record them.....she is brilliant, especially for being so young. Plus, watching the little things she has done like the huge bonuses she gave her crew on the tour.....just wonderful. I don't know one song....but I like the girl a lot.

Only thing I know is Earl used to have a huge crush on Swift until she started dating a black guy. Then he switched his undying love to Kate Beckinsale, which was far more understandable in any case.

Glad you like 'em. Not my kind of music, tho.

I turn the radio dial when her songs come on.

Mr. Perfect, I think Earl fell in love with any attractive women he saw! Interesting guy though. I bought a .22LR conversion from him for my mini 14. He also helped me with some contract issues when I was (foolishly) buying rentals about 15 years ago.

I have a hunch that in the beginning this was all manufactured to promote her and the NFL.

If something bad happens to TS, like getting killed, the whole world will shut down, at least the media thinks so.

I too cannot stand her type of singing but then most all the new country rap junk is horrible .

I dont think I have heard her sing but have seen headlines for ever on her people paying thousands of dollars for tickets

Are you telling me it’s possible that Earl was not a disbarred lawyer from Louisiana and that could have all been an elaborate cover to hide his true identity as Travis Kelce!!!

I got to talking to the girlfriend a few months ago about Taylor, neither of us are fans but you can't avoid hearing about her. On a whim I looked up her net worth and it was $760 million. Well, that's not bad, I'd rather make millions singing songs, than driving an 18 wheeler 14 hours a day for $65K a year, which was my last job.

I looked up Ms. Swift's net worth last week and it is just over a Billion. She is on a big tour doing live shows, plus a movie of the live shows is playing at all the theaters. She just did a show in Argentina, I saw a story in the paper, hard to believe but they said that "Swifties" had been camped out on the sidewalk in Argentina for FOUR MONTHS to be first in line to get tickets. Good God!

She has made $240 Million in the past 3 months.

I remember Earl's infatuation with Taylor. Earl was a trip, I enjoyed his posts. He lived in Metaire, La.

I saw some person saying they bought tickets to the Argentina show and booked flights, got a room for cheaper than they could have seen the US show for. Crazy times we live in for sure.

I don't think so but that would be neat.

    A difference in generations.

T Swift writes sad songs about breaking up with her boy friends.

Stevie Knicks wrote songs about how much her boy friend was an a-hole and MADE HIM sing them!

Meet the Argentine Taylor Swift Fans Who Have Been Camping Out for the Eras Tour Since June

Public criticism, downpours, and rowdy soccer fans haven’t stopped these outrageously devoted Swifties in their quest to get as close to their idol as possible.

    By Diego Nicolás Argüello

    November 2, 2023

“We’ve been in this tent for five months,” says a 21-year-old Swiftie waiting outside Buenos Aires’ River Plate Stadium. The rumble of a mixing truck can be heard through the tent’s thin fabric, while a large group of ants hopes for a snack to fall to the ground on a nearby sidewalk. The fan prefers to remain anonymous, because her father doesn’t know she’s been spending many afternoons—in between working a part-time job and taking college classes—in a small, makeshift encampment alongside her fellow Taylor Swift loyalists since June. “I usually tell my dad I’m at a park drinking mate with somebody, or visiting a friend of mine who lives near the stadium,” she adds.

She’s hardly alone in her dedication. Ahead of Swift’s three Buenos Aires shows, which kick off November 9, as part of the Latin American stretch of her Eras Tour, hundreds of fans have been occupying four tents outside the stadium.

Criticism of these beyond-diehard fans and their rules didn’t take long to settle in. Questions like “Do you work?” “Do you study?” and “Do you shower?” became such a constant that the campers jokingly started repeating them to each other. During one of my interviews, a passerby shouted “vagos” (slang for “lazy ones”) at the tents. Such insults are common.

    • “People are very upset with us camping for some reason,” Carmen says. “Sometimes you’re lying down, and you hear someone scream ‘Go to work!’ at 2 a.m. It’s like, ‘You’re the one who’s outside of a tent shouting at 2 in the morning—aren’t you supposed to work tomorrow? Does it really affect you that much? I’m the one who’s sleeping on the street, not you.”

I haven't been that wild about a girl sin 1959. I better not go further as I'm not sure of the statute of limitations.

Never paid a bit of attention to her (Taylor Swift). Have seen her name come up a lot but just pass over the stories. Kind of sounds like she uses some kind of hypnosis on her fans if you ask me.

The only music I listen to is oldies stuff on the radio. So haven't heard her sing before. If I ever passed her on the street, wouldn't recognize her but may look again if she is that pretty.

Lady Gaga is not my style and neither is Elton John. However, I ran across a duet they did, both of them playing the piano and it is outstanding. Named Art Pop.

Lady Gaga is an Extremely talented performer. A Classically trained Pianist.

Listen to her solo performance of Paparazzi on the piano. Just fabulous.

Also a very good performance in "A Star is Born."

I like lots of her songs, my favorites are the two albums she did with Tony Bennett

I loved watching how sweet she was with him, especially when he was struggling a bit. She is a doll.

Her kind treatment and friendship with Tony Bennett completely changed how I had previously viewed her.

Seeing her in "Normal" life, without the makeup and Stage persona, is completely different than the Stage Performer/Entertainer she portrays. (Like Alice Cooper.) [As an example.]

She is very Humble. There have been a couple in depth Interviews/Videos done on her. Her performances on and in those Interview/documentaries are astounding.

I watched the remake of A Star is Born. She is a good actress too.
