House Democrats pass a ban on assault weapons
The last-minute vote was announced by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Friday morning.
What happened to this Bill. At the time the House was controlled by the Democrats and the Republicans controlled the Senate. The Senate killed this bill.
However, now that things are reversed - is this bill still floating out there somewhere? Could the Dem controlled Senate pass this or is it completely dead?
Researching - the bill is dead if the senate doesn't pass it, which they didn't at the time.
I expect they will just rewrite this bill when the Dems control the WH, HOR, and Senate.

The passage of that bill and its enforcement, if it were to happen, would be the opening silence of the second civil war. But this time it would be the free peoples of the Fifty United States against tyranny.

Grasshopper, could not agree more. A while back I used a word that is not allowed and was poofed so I can't use it here. In my humble opinion this one word will determine the fate of our country. It makes no difference who is nominated for either party. A Supreme Court Decision was reversed. It is my greatest hope that the Republicans can come up with a winning platform. It will have to be carefully worded on this one issue. I don't even know if it is possible. Without taking any sides, there is nothing worse than the wrath of a woman and they will VOTE in the millions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------------------Ray

Like Hamas screwing with the Israeli's, they really do not realize/know who they are screwing with.
If they keep pushing, they may get to find out. IMHO.
