28° here this morning. I have one gutter that the guard is piled high with leaves and was going to get the ladder out and clean them off this morning. Leaves are all down, so if I get them cleaned off I should be good for the year. Should have know when there was ice in the bird bath that the leaves would be frozen down.😖 It's on the west side, so no sun until afternoon and by then football started so I guess tomorrow will be a better day. Get that done tomorrow along with the last leaf/pine cone pickup and I will be ready for winter. Bob

30 this morning. A balmy 53 this afternoon, then all heck breaks loose. High in the low 40s all next week.

We had upper 20’s many mornings this last week. Time to break out the heated water buckets for the outdoor animals.

Buddy will usually have to go out once, between midnight and 4 am. He jumped off the bed and came around to the side of the bed and touched my face with his nose. I know what he wants and I let him out.
Hooked him up out front on his 100' Trolley lead. He spotted something and took of towards the far end. 10 minutes later he was not coming back in when called. (Not unusual, when he's on something.) Figured, I'll show him and went back to bed for another 10 minutes or so, watching for the motion sensor solar light by the front door. Nothing. Went back out front w/a flashlight and saw him stuck (pulley off to the side of the cable) 100-120' feet out.
Went out Nekkid to get him. Yes it was cold. Low 30's. I was fully awake, when I came back in. Brrrr................................
It has been down to 19° here at night a week back. We're in the Mtns.

We should reach near 70 degrees tomorrow and Thursday
