While waiting at Target.

Target Team Member was looking for a DVD in the back I saw Aaron Franklin had a book out. He's a funny guy who BBQs out there in Austin. I'd like to hang out and learn from him and Rodney Scott doing whole hog.

This is the official YouTube channel of BBQ with Franklin as watched on KLRU- TV, Austin PBS. Here you can find Aaron Franklin's instructional videos on various Barbecue cooking methods. His recipes include everything from Turkey, Brisket, Pork and show you step by step from beginning to end on how to create these delicious barbecue dishes. Aaron is a self taught bbq expert, who has quickly risen to be one of the most well known pit bosses in the barbecue world. Aaron's first book, Franklin Barbecue: A Meat Smoking Manifesto has quickly become a cult classic since it was published in 2015. Aaron's second book, Franklin Steak, showcases his deep love for steak by exploring dry aging, reverse searing, and other cooking methods. Aaron is the recipient of the James Beard Award for Best Chef and has also been inducted into the American Royal Barbecue Hall of Fame for 2020. Aaron also launched his backyard bbq pit company, Franklin BBQ Pits, in 2020.

    Target is right there with Miller Lite in celebrating "woman hood" for men and little boy's........they don't get a cent of my money and never will.

    I have Costco, Kroger and Amazon. I don’t need Walmart or Target.

    Of course they really don’t need me either 😁

    NeoBlackdog - Hey if Walmart had a "Walmart Exclusive" DVDs I'd go and keep the economy of China afloat.

    austin20 - Amazon is basically Walmart on home delivery.

    I see there is two versions of Franklin's book. Franklin BBQ (which I saw) and Steaks in a two book set or BBQ as a single volume. Two books for near same price for one from Target, no brainer on that one. I saw that he made a smoker for the masses, too. But $5 grand I can't justify the price since most likely I'll be leaving it for someone else o enjoy.
