Lost a daughter, a half brother, two good friends, and a great dog. Glad to see 2023 in the rear view mirror.

I can't say 2023 was all that great but maybe not as terrible as 2022 when we got burnt out saving only the house.

The 2023 drought was a real bugger and definitely a setback in recovery from the previous year's loss.

As with most 'agriculturists', I'm a perpetual optimist so hoping 2024 brings a more normal year of weather and life.😁

You sure did Kevin_L, congrats. May we all have one that good in '24. No parties for Jeff anymore. I'm just on the recliner watching the Packers an sipping some of Spud's favorite. I really don't care for beer but I figure I figure that every one I drink is one less for the youth of America can have.

2023 was one heck of a year. Lots of ups and downs but you know, I'm gonna stick with the positives from 2023.

I took on a new job with a company I like. Good people, I'd have a a beer with every one of them.

My wife and I took two nice vacations together. We're heading off for another one just after the start of the new year.

My kid got accepted to study abroad for a semester. I'm really proud of her though she refuses to wear her colander.

I spent time with my family, shot thousands of rounds with my father in law, reloaded just as many with him, discovered Aberfeldy scotch (oh....so good......), optimized my Carolina BBQ sauce recipe, got back into drumming, wore out 2 pairs of shoes walking the dogs, and oh yeah...came back to the forums after a long hiatus.

I raise my glass to everyone here now and to those that are no longer with us. Cheers everyone!

I just noticed without your colander, you look almost lifelike !🙃😜

Been a tough year. Woke up in May with pain in both legs. Back surgery was October 1. Dr. said I would be 100% in 6 months. Almost there. Cheers Kevin.

Fairly good year although I lost two great buddies. One 4 legged little fellow passed , took all my heart with him and second had two legs, passed a week later. He and I were sort of neighbors, went to school together, and he worked for me many years. Well loved by the community. He would give you the shirt off his back. Fell DRT while outside pruning his shrubbery. Best way to go that I could think of.
