Just ridiculous. Florida came to the field with no team, as many players opted out. I enjoyed the results of that.

That might be the worst beat down of a ranked team I ever saw and I left to go home part way through the third quarter.

Georgia had its second string QB playing as I was leaving to go home and I think I heard the announcer say the player who just scored was a true freshman.

Georgia was playing lights out and it seemed like FSU didn't bother to show up for the game.

What you're missing Sir is the fact that Georgia had a full staff of seniors that have played all year and Florida was playing with their best players gone and a third string Quarterback at the helm.

If all had been even the outcome would have been vastly different, not saying Fl would have won but there wouldn't have been a "beat down".

Don't be too proud that they beat half of a team.

I was commenting on the selection committee being torn apart over them passing on a 13-0 FSU team.

I'm saying the selection committee got it right when they said they passed on FSU because with their QB out they weren't good enough to be in the playoffs. That decision was obviously correct.

Added to FSU's problems were 7 defensive players bailing on FSU which took a problem and made it a PROBLEM!!

My two favorite teams are Clemson and Michigan. I wish I could say "Go Tigers" tomorrow but I'll be going "Go Blue!!"

In defense of the FSU players who opted out; once they were no longer in the championship race, why risk an injury in what is essentially a meaningless game?

Florida State made it too easy for the Georgia defense. The defense knew every time Florida State was going to run the ball.

They could see the tears running down the running backs cheeks.

FSU had about 25 players opt out. I think those players were sending a message to the selection committee

Its just like the NFL now, hand picked winners and losers to make the most $ possible.

Ga win the last 2 national championships, only lost ONE game in the last few seasons. But some number crunchers decided that Al would bring in more money!

Ga and Fl both deserved to be un the play iffs based in their stats, most especially Ga.

I will just treat College football like I di the NFL, never watch again.

    Just sayin'

The entire concept of a National Championship in college ball is inherently flawed to begin with. Does some committee say, "These 100 schools don't have a chance anyway, so let's just make these 10 or 12 schools eligible for the championship". And it is just coincidence that the committee is made up of alumni from those few schools.

Just watch the games. It's entertainment.

I mean, you are correct about the entertainment part. I watch movies all the time that are fake, but they TELL you they are fictional.

College football is akin to WWE now, predetermined for the most part, but they ACT like its a real match up.

    Just sayin'

Michigan/Bama WAS a real matchup. Great playing on both sides of the ball by both teams.
