Gonna just hang here at the homestead, and smoke up a pork roast.

Same as last year, be asleep before midnight after enjoying good food and drink.

Seafood dinner at the local steak house on Saturday.

    College football Sunday and Monday.

Farthest I'll get from the house will be to the garage.

As posted above, I plan on Peace and Quiet. I will be asleep before midnight, like the last bunch of New Year's.

Unfortunately, my Son will be in Times Square. I wish he would listen to his Old Man/Dad, about things like this. That will be the #1 Terrorist target in the USA on that date and time.

*Thankfully, my Son just communicated to me that although he is currently in the NNJ/NYC area, he will not be in Times Square, for New Years Eve. 👍

Please give a report on Times Square. There are stories that a lot of folks wear adult diapers so they don’t lose their spot.

Doesn't seem worth it, though probably better than the event in San Francisco.

@yoshmyster I use plum wine as a mixer for vodka also. 😃

yoshmyster, I've been to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. Big place w/ an oompah band playing. Quite noisy since there we no soft surfaces. I brought home a sweatshirt from the gift shop. I had a great time with an ex-manager that transferred there along with his family years previous. I was surprised to learn that many restaurants have their own brewery onsite. Also it's illegal to call an establishment a beer garden unless there is at least one chestnut tree on location.

KenK/84Bravo - I was thinking just that with gawed only knows who got through the open border and then got a free ride to NYC.

Toolman286  - I get the Choya with real plum fruit. It's good stuff if you can find it or order it. Also the bottle make a nice water carafe because it has a flip top. Now what I do is get two bottles worth of fruit in one bottle then I put vodka and little sugar and forget it for a while. Oh there is a Korean plum extract that makes a nice summer non-alcoholic drink 1 part extract to 4 parts water. Or make a vodka mixer. https://mykoreankitchen.com/what-plum-extract-looks-like/ Typically it's about $15 or cheaper from another maker.

I reckon the 90 year olds are gonna party so hard.

cbxjeff - They make you bring your own seat cushions, huh? Good reason to bring a wheel chair. Did not know about the chestnut rule. Would love to go to one and order the deep fried pig ankle Schweinshaxe but I'll never go.

*Almost forgot stay vigilant and safe.

Just finished watching a News special, where various Agencies had labeled "the New Year's eve gathering at Times Square, more than likely the #1 Terrorist Target hands down in the USA at that specific date and time. (If not the World.)"

They showed the extreme level of preparation and overwatch that would be taking place. I am really glad my Son, will not be there.

Events like that are a magnet for an attack.

Left overs for supper. In my Recliner, a book in in hand, some music in the background. Some snack's close at at hand (healthy stuff),

Wife asleep on the Couch (as usual) .

Just another start to another year.

Yep. Same old same old. The New Year celebrations don't interest me anymore.

Prime rib roast with family. Watch the ball drop in NYC live with a ceremonial toast. Be in bed and asleep by 10 pm. Pretty standard really.

The fireworks stands are open and I'll probably be asleep before they even get the show started., if not I may go out on back porch and watch all of Fort Worth light up the sky. Haven't been to a NY eave Party in about 10 years...

I seem to get to bed earlier every night but wake up at the same time. As far as New Year's I can't think that far lol. I hope my neighbors don't get any ideas about fireworks lol
