Christmas and Covid
My wife, our sons and myself are down with Covid. Little sis and her son also.
I've been sick with flus and one time had pneumonia, but I can't remember any time being this wiped out. Lesia so so sick, it hurts me.
BUT....... We have food on the table, the roof doesn't leak (been raining on and off for the last few days) no snow to shovel, 53 degrees and we have the birth of Christ, so.... we are blessed.

Hang in there. We all had COVID for last Christmas, so I feel your pain. By next Christmas, though, the bad parts will fade while the good memories will endure.

@44pinshooter Sorry to hear you guys are under the weather. I can honestly say that I don't know if I have ever had the China flu, because while I have been sick a few times the last couple of years I've never been tested. Judy caught it the day after Geriatric Joe declared the pandemic was over and was quickly put on Paxlovid and her symptoms were very mild with just a few sniffles and a couple of degrees of fever. I hope you guys recover quickly and in time to enjoy a healthy New Year! Bob

Wiped the wife and I out for best part of two weeks, Good now, drink a lot of liquids and sleep. Never felt so weak in my life. Doc said not to get a covid shot for a couple of months. Merry Christmas

The girlfriend got Corona a month ago. She was very sick for ten days.
She has had the 2 shots and 2 boosters. Hang in there.

The shots neither prevent nor lessen Covid. What they might do is kill you.

Sorry you're ill and otherwise fine but I do wish people would call it what it is........the "China" virus and not be so afraid of insulting China and Dr. Fauci. Even Trump still calls it the "China" virus.

Before things head down that road too far, just a suggestion….. maybe we focus on well wishes for 44pinshooter and family who are having a rough Christmas……and less on the COVID rants. There’s plenty of room in other threads for that stuff.
