Wife's Birthday Dinner from last night.
Cookin' the ham in the deep fryer...
Ham resting/draining....
And dinner! Deep fried spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, and homemade bread. There's a salad floatin' around out there somewhere, but who cares about that?
If you've never tried deep frying a ham, I highly recommend it. Heat the oil to 375 and give it about 3 minutes +/- per pound.

Most things deep fry well. Ham, rib roasts, turkeys, etc all do very well in a deep fryer. The rib roasts especially!

Looks absolutely Delicious, Steve.
I don't have a deep fryer, (but) I have a Smoker and two large Smoked Spiral sliced Hams in the fridge. ($1.49/lb.) I'm thinking throw one in the Smoker and make Ham Jerky out of the other one.
My mouth is watering now. (Drooling on myself.) ππ

Man, that's just cruel, now I'm starving to death and your house is the only place I know of to get deep fried ham. π

Yessir, made the bread in a bread machine, but I did dump all the ingredients in.
