Yes, but I hardy notice more light in the evening until about the middle of February.

More sun, yes. But not warmer. Just as it is not the warmest at noon, but in mid-afternoon, so is it that there's a "heat lag" in seasons. It will continue to get colder until early February.

Yes today we will gain 8 seconds, tomorrow 1 minute. By the end of January sun will not set until after 5 o’clock, that is on the 41st parallel anyway where we’re located.
