Told Her Not To ,,,,,,,.
Local ranch lady was needing some help installing temporary plywood to keep mountain lion out of goat .shelter, until metal is delivered.
Told her I would be over this morning to help. Before I got there, she picked up a sheet of 4 x 8 three-quarter inch plywood. There was a slight breeze that turned her sideways and instead of letting go of the plywood, she tried to control it. Just as I arrived, she fell to the ground, holding her stomach. The scream was loud and shrill.
I managed to get her jacket unzipped, and I could see a bulge beneath her shirt. Yep, a navel hernia !! Got a compress on it and off to the hospital.
An hour and a half later, emergency surgery got her back on her feet. She was bound and determined to finish the project. With a little coarse language, OK, it was cussing, I convinced her to stay in the truck until I finished the enclosure. Me thanks she’s going to be a wee bit sore tomorrow..🤣

Hernia pain is no joke. I hope she rests up good so that it heals well.

2-3 weeks after my open heart surgery, there was a new Lowe's opening up on my way to my Cardiologist. I was putting a new roof on my cabin. They had a killer deal on 4x8 Panels of Plywood. I bought apprx. 24. It was very windy out, when I was loading them. I held on to more than one, that wanted to fly off.
My Cardiologist, was not very amused. 🤔
