Buyer and seller dispute

Boy that sounds like a charlie foxtrot. It does sound scam-ish, since he took possession of the gun. I can't imagine why he would do that, if he looked over the gun first. Surely the receiving FFL pointed it all out to him when he got it in.

I don't think you will get far with a UPS claim but it's probably where I would start.

Did your shipping FFL document how they packaged the gun for shipment, and condition when it was received and how it left?

Did you take pictures of the packing job done on the guns prior to shipment? That'd sure throw some cold water on him if you had.

Hey Mr. Perfect thanks for your input. No record of the condition of the guns from shipper. Just always had good luck and trusted their shipping style. Lots of positive comments from buyers.

Mac10 I like the way you think. If I continue with GB sales I will bubble wrap and put in a hard plastic case and take pictures from now on

Have him send pictures of the damage.

Been there a few times over 20 years and I know I was scammed a couple times. The FFL and “buyer” had to be in on those but agree, pics and a hard case with item in it.

They are some thieves on here but 98% more or less good to deal.

I would contact the receiving FFL if possible. You may get a different story.

So he received them, looked them over, still signed for them, and wants his money back? Judging by his threats, etc, my only response would be "you signed for them, you own them, so call me when you're ready to apologize for acting like a child that grew up never learning the word NO."

Good thoughts above but it is best to put in a complaint with GB Auction side as here in the forums about all we can offer is our sympathy.
