How much of your "unkept" version of yourself will you expose to the unsuspecting public?

That's funny. I know what you mean. I still can't "go to town" with dirty clothes on after working outside most of the day. I can go somewhere now with two days growth where I wouldn't before and have "shoes" on. And your hair, cut it shorter to where it looks "in style" without the brushes. PLUS it will make you look younger, yes it will.

I’ll take honesty over beauty any day.

As far as riding a roller coaster holding onto a pair of chickens? Well now I got something else now to add to my bucket list of things to do.

Having worked agriculture construction / repair and installs , what you see is what you gets .Not going to walk into a sit down full restaurant but the burger joint is fair game . Some folks work for a living you know .

Will try to be clean and neat when planning a trip to town.

I have gone to Lowe’s several times looking like a nightmare that was just run over by a paint truck

I always look nice. It's the way God made me. I added the headwear.

I used to be much more vain than now, then I thought "at my age, no matter what I do, I'm still an old fart and no one expects much from old guys anyway."

I think my "unkempt" version only differs from the "primped" version by about 1 mm of beard growth (about all I can stand).

    Neither version is particularly impressive.

I live in the sticks... I do not see too many folks unless I want to.... But I still seem to get up, work out and then end up in the shower before 9 most mornings...

Small town, we know everyone and we always dress presentable. Only time we look a little rough is if we are coming off a fishing or hunting trip, we may stop at the grocery store. But that is about it.

the only time I remember concerned about how I dressed or looked which was nice to me was a newer pair of blue jeans Levi's at the time at the peak of popularity and clean shirt mostly t-shirts or a flannel shirt in the winter time when out with friends or looking for a girl

my wife very early on made a point to call me out ( or make fun of me ) we were going into town not long after being married I said I am ready, she came out of the bath room with one of my flannel shirts and ball caps on said lets go . 😂 OK point taken so from that day On i try and look nice if we go together any where

now If I am parts chasing for a car I am working on or repair project or to the big box store for more lumber nails or ? I go just as I am dirty have grease and oil sawdust no matter I wash my hands and face and what even I have on is good

Whatever my wife will let me get away with is what I wear. She has no problem telling me if my outfit needs to changed when we go out.

I am glad we live in the country and no close neighbors. What I wear around the house and yard would scare most city folk.

I run the spectrum. Sundays after church if I pop into the store I'm all gussied up. Middle of the week and I need to make a run, it's whatever I'm wearing at the moment.

Hunting season I've walked into the store after being in the woods and haven't showered in 2 or 3 days, blood all over my clothes, wind burned face and hair wadded up under an orange hat.

I'm of the opinion that take me as I am or move on. That doesn't mean I'm a slob, just that I'm not going to go to great lengths to try to impress anyone.

This is how I look* when I go out in public. I am wearing my casual black turtleneck with jeans, nothing fancy.

*This photo was taken several years ago, before the accident.

I'm with @Bubba Jr., I stopped caring about what people thought about what I was wearing, a few years back.

Dont like what I'm wearing? That's really too bad.

My phone blitzed out last night.

Just letting Kasey know she could show up for a meeting after rolling out of bed and her personality doesn't change.

20 years in and still one of the best people on GunBroker!

Not really a fair question.......either way.

Remember "Men are from Mars.........Women are from Venus"........basically. 😎

What is funny is how awkward I feel when I actually DO put a good bit of effort into things. Its like I've got someone else's clothes on and I'm never comfortable. I'm more at peace if I just have a decent looking Tshirt on, jeans, minimal makeup and I get wherever I'm going on time! As far as schedules go....I'm good, everywhere I'm supposed to be when I'm supposed to be there...UNLESS my brother is involved. Then, I'm 15 min late at least.

I'm pretty much totally unkept all the time. Having said that, I'm considered one of the best dresses guys when I go to Walmart.

I'm getting to the point in life where my shower schedule revolves around doctor appointments!

Sad part is that I now take more showers than I used to!!

If you ever feel your not up to any standard

Take a look on people of walmart.com

I truly doubt any one posting on here could even make the list

Just remember to wear clean underwear and wash behind your ears

I never got that one just based on common sense

    However

if you get into a accident or hurt bad chances are

even what was clean underware Would be the last thing any one would care about or notice lol

If there is a package on my door stoop if I'm towling it (yes that's just me and a towel) I'll look to make sure there are no one walking by first through the peep hole. Now if I have to go to the mail box I'll put on pants.
