It's been done several times in the past not sure if every one posters did you can also looking at profiles most at least put what state they live in

Individual members can share where they live if they want in their signature lines or as DR mentioned there have been several posts about where do you live... GB would be violating privacy policies if certain information was made available in profiles, so I don't believe that will happen any time soon.
