Dang It - (Update)
New Couch and Recliner getting delivered shortly.
Pouring rain. Gotta get the old stuff outside and the new stuff inside. Dang It.
*I hope the Fed Ex Guy's (Guy) are helpfull. π€
Will pay them $$, to help move it all in and out.
*Worst case scenario.

Thanks, @tomh. (And) Yeah, I hit you with a disagree. You dont know what I got, or what I paid.
Much better than what I had. A 30 year old set, bought second hand, after I divorced in 95'.
Merry Christmas. ππ
*@Locust Fork, I used to have 6 perimeter alarms. Different # of beeps depending on where you were, on my property. One at the head of my driveway. They've crapped out over time. I need to reinvest in another system.

At least now you have one good post to put one on.....

I dont know, Todd. I've not gone out to see if Fed -Ex ran over anything on the way out last night. (Full dark, pouring rain.) They have broken more than one of my posts at my Driveway end, over the years.
@tomh. if I can save $$ by putting it together/assembling it myself, I am willing to do that. That is probably why Amazon (Great Return policy, by the way.) Offers it. It was shippable. (And) Very highly rated.

Glad the stuff showed up! I hope the assembly instructions are in English.π
Judy and I bought a T.V. stand, supposedly made in America, and the only instructions it came with were in Spanish. I guess it didn't actually specify if it was made in North or South America!. Bob

Another 6th box showed up (Sun.?) just now, while Buddy and I were out on a beer run.
I was really wondering how they fit a good size recliner into one 3x3x2' box. π€
Luckily, they did not run over/break any of my posts on the way out last night. π

Look at the bright side. How many BTU's are in all that cardboard?

I can always use big, heavy duty boxes like these. Inuemerable uses. π

In prison they used cardboard and toothpaste to build their own furniture. (of course I'd come along and take it away)
It was all well constructed and functional.

I just backed in to my driveway, and saw a new box, stacked on the others. I knew it was not there when I left. (25 minutes ago.) I went over to look at it, when getting out of my Jeep w/Buddy.
Since when does Fed-Ex deliver on Sunday? I was rather surprised.

When it's Amazon everyone including the US Postal Service delivers on Sunday.

Fed X and UPS both have been running 7 days a week and into the late evening, here for quite awhile now trying to stay caught up. They like so many places are short staffed and things back up in a hurry.

Yea, you're right. I don't know anything about your couch. I hope it's just what you wanted & you enjoy it.
I'm just looking at the poor Fed Ex guy you're going to ask to help you move furniture.

I know my next door neighbor/buddy, (Local Postal Service employee) does not work on Sunday's.
It's one day we can always re-connect, shoot on his property/range (even though I can go over there anytime.) Drink beer, etc.
I did not think Fed-Ex/UPS worked Sundays. Amazon "Prime," I know does.
Amazon makes everything so easy to shop there and is so reliable/lowest price/easy Return Policy, etc. as much as I do not care for Mark Bezzos, it is pretty difficult not to shop there. π€

I guess this time of year and "business demands," take precedence over Sunday off.
I worked a large chain Grocery store (Meat dept.) these past two years. Open 7 days a week. (6am-11pm) Only day closed? Christmas day. Worked many/most Holidays. (Busy, busy.)

I was only going to "Ask," and offer a $20 if helped. I had Friends lined up, just in case. Since they are all in various boxes, I will manage.
Merry Christmas. ππ
