DEMOCRATs are ecstatic and too stupid to realize tax revenue loss.

IMO New York has legislated them out of the state with taxes and gun laws. If they wanted to keep Remington, they could have.

NY, you Reap, what you have Sown.

My Military Brother's and I all refused to "Register," any of our AR's when that nonsense "Safe Act," came out. Most Gun Owners, did not. (A dirty little secret, well known to LEO's and Albany.)

We have ALL Voted with our feet and have since left that State. (Over the years.) CO, TN, PA, Etc. Etc.

None of us, (all Veteran's) live there anymore.

    Bye Felicia.

It's pretty obvious that they could care less about them. OTH, I'm sure that all of the illegals shipped there will find good paying jobs and their taxes will make up for big "R" going bye-bye.

I bought (B-day gift to myself) two years ago, a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308. It is very well made.

I also have a Remington 7615 "Police Carbine," pump in 5.56. It also is extremely well made.

    IMHO.

Any time prior to 2007. Thankfully, my Remingtons are all 1950s to early 1990s.

My Remington 1100 12 g is a beautiful gun and quality. But then again it's pretty old.

I thought they did fine until Cerebus got involved, ignored anything resembling QC, and ran them into the ground. Same thing happened with Marlin. As I recall, Remington had some issues with triggers on the 700, where the rifle would fire when the safety was switched off. Not all of them, mind you, but it did happen, but we're talking a few out of millions. I've never personally witnessed one that was faulty, and I like to think I've been around a bunch of them over the years. A couple people died, which was 100% avoidable if the people handling the rifles had bothered to know where the muzzle was pointed, and, of course, the MSM ran with it, but never once looked at it the way they should have.

IIRC, the trigger issues were from people trying to adjust, non-adjustable triggers.

Watched the News a few days back, They said that Remington was being forced out of NY by the Sandy Hook Settlement. NOT.

The current move is from economic and political motivation.

The settlement happened years ago, and caused he original breakup.

Well, it's far left CNBC so they're gonna spin it in as bad a light as possible. If those leftist dweebs told me it gets dark at night I'd run outside to verify it for myself.
