Found some DVDs that I never heard of like "The Man Who Sued God" it had Billy Connolly so I had to get it. I like his work. "Korengal" a part two of "Restrepo". Basically a embedded doco filming. Then "Contractor" which had Ben Foster who I didn't know was in it who I also like. It had Chris Pine. They were in another movie I liked "Hell Or High Water". I also got "Midieval" a bash up back in 15th century. It had Michael Caine and Til Schweiger (the German Tom Cruise) who was in one of my favorite movie "SLC Punk". The bit where they try to sink a stolen car in the salt lake was hilarious.

I picked up "Everest" the Imax version. It touched the bad weather of 1996 like the other movie with Jake Gyllenhaal with the same name. I wonder if the Imax version comes in Blu Ray? I got more but I haven't gone through them. Since there are no new DVDs out again this week I'm set.

I have to wait until mid March to order the DVD for season 4 of All Creatures Great and Small for my wife. She is hooked on mostly UK stuff. I also enjoy watching this series but just once and done for me. She likes to watch the episodes over and over.

Is that a remake? If not that's old. Like "Fawlty Towers". I see they did remake that.

I bought many BBC tv shows back in the day. Should look up "Lovejoy" pre-Swearengen or "Chef!" before Ramsey was a household name. "Ripper Street" and "Copper" was good. I used to watch "Doc. Martin" when hulu was free. Then there was "Torchwood" I finally got one of the missing season a few years ago.

I still enjoy watching The Avengers. The early 60's English version with Emma Peel and Steed!

Currently watching a few Masterpiece productions like Father Brown and Miss Scarlett and the Duke. Still watch Grantchester when it airs, along with Endeavour, Wolf Hall, and Poldark which I bought on DVD.

Regarding "All Creatures Great and Small"........

I have the entire original series on DVD and have enjoyed it. From the late 70's into the early 80's.

Oh I just watched "The Avengers" with Sir Sean Connery last week. It made me want to get all the crappy remakes like "Wild, Wild West" with slap happy Will Smith.
