Gastronomic Firestorm Beginning
Seems like every time I post something about anything edible, I ignite an epicurious or gastronomic firestorm. Well, here we go again. At the Dollar Tree store the was packages of "Brim's Old Fashioned Seasoned Pork Cracklin Dippers" - 'fried out pork fat with attached skin'. They are like the old fashioned 'cracklins' the my grandmother used to make - but hers' were not seasoned.
You don't want to try them if you have temporary crowns or dentures. And they are 'highly' seasoned and may be out of your comfort range. I believe they might be suitable for making 'cracklin cornbread'.

Sorry, I am not buying any meat products at the dollar tree store or any of the similar outfits.

I once found deep fried pig feet/ankle at Chualar convenience store. The skin was stupid crunchy which cracked a molar. Actually the molar I recently had pulled. Kind a silly spending money on something fixed only to be removed only after few years. Anyways I don't dare try anything harder than Chicharron Con Carne (deep fried pork skin with meat) from Santa Fe these days and I'm even careful with that.
Now that bag looks like pretty much any ol' bag of pork rinds.
