first day of the year.......
and the ground is white and still falling. Not going to amount to much as the high will be in mid-high 30's. only thing is we have only had one other snow this winter. Not sure the new year is starting off in the right direction........

Feeding the Woodstove and enjoying the view, out the back 3 stories of windows, on my Mtn. Chalet.
Love beeing in the boonies. (And my house/property/location.)

This is the first winter I am hoping for some snow......Need to get moisture in the soil any way we can !!

Up here in New York State on the Vermont border...no snow nada. it rained most of last week. The ski resorts must be taking a killing.
