Is the Mossberg 500E any good? Or? any opinions welcomed

I have had several Mossberg 500s. I have had one in 410. They are good entry level field shotguns as @Grasshopper has said. I no longer have one because I found I didn't get more than two shots on a quail covey rise or on a grouse if visiting some more northerly relatives. So I went to 410 SXS or O/Us where I had the option of barrel selection.

Yes, I have a 510 in 410. When new, it had cycling and feeding issues that have mostly disappeared. They are somewhat difficult to load into the magazine if wearing gloves or just fat fingers. Choked tighter than Gramma's garters.
