Colt 1911 pow/mia
what would I value this at resell? I can’t seem to see a listing for a resell of one these anywhere online.

500 made a RETAIL price at the time was &1995. but I highly doubt it would bring anything close to that - imo

There is about 110 pages of Colt 1911s for sale on the auction side. The 'gingerbread' on models like the one you have does nothing to enhance the functioning of the machine. Like a new car - when you drive it off the lot there is a depreciation factor. Same here - maybe more so. Here are some plain Jane 1911s on the auction side - if you were to better than these, consider it to be most fortunate. Best Regards - AQH
