Who produced the first bolt action rifle in this caliber?

  I believe it was Mossberg with their 640k chuckster.

  Yup, as a kid I had Mossberg's 620K single shot version. I bagged a lot of woodchucks with that gun.

  The first .22 WMR firearm was the Marlin Levermatic rifle. 1959

  Thank you all. I know about the marlin 57 in 22 war in 1959, I ask about the bolt action as I know about some Remington 510 that were converted to the 22 WMR, Also some other single shot 22 rifles that were converted.

  So I asked who produced the first bolt action rifle in that caliber. Mossberg apears to be the first.
