Had both lenses replaced, one for cataract, one for a scar. Made unbelievable difference in my vision.

Trap avg. high 90’s ,,,,,,,, get it done and never look back.

I know someone who had the surgery and it was a life changer for her.

Do it. You won’t regret it.

I can only wish it will be successful (no experience myself) Good luck!

I have not shot trap in nearly 40 years, but I have had both eyes done for cataracts. It is a "nothing burger"of an operation and you will rejoice at the difference.

For the record, I have astigmatism and wear glasses for it, but am still 20/20 at age 77.

Do let us know how long it took you to get re-adjusted in seeing.

I've never had any work done on my eyes, but my trap average has been pretty good so far.

I have been weeding out all of the feral cats in my neighborhood for quite some time.

Just for curiosity, how do plan on getting that skunk out of that trap and remain non-smelly??

Grouch Attack had cataract surgery on both eyes first 2 weeks of this month. She paid $???? extra to have new lenses installed that were purportedly going to allow her correct vision w/o glasses. Three weeks later she's reading (playing on her phone) w/o glasses but distance vision is still not good.

Eye specialist says another month may improve that. I can't say if this is assurance or just postponing the bad news.

In the past they used to do the surgery to make the right eye (usually dominate eye) to help reading, and the other eye for distance.

Not good for trap for most.

About 20 years ago I shot trap 5 days a week. I got fairly good and shot 200 straight and won a few trap shoots.

I haven't shot trap for about 5 years. Eyes are not very good now, and most likely will have to have glasses.

I have a trophy case full of stuff from trap.
