Savage-Stevens 30 .22 rimfire

I just picked up an interesting version of this model. Full octagon barrel with gold plated lever and hammer with everything else being blued. The serial number starts off with "LTD" followed by a 4 digit number. Can that stand for "limited?" It is not case hardened nor does it say "Favorite" on the side of the receiver. It has a relatively straight plastic butt plate. It has a medallion showing Joshua Stevens with "Father of 22 Hunting." Any info would be most appreciated!
