Anybody else
having problems accessing the forums. All day when I have hit the link at the bottom of the GB homepage, I get a sorry can't access message. If I punch Gun broker forums in a Google search and try to get the main, home, forum page I get the same message. If I punch in one of the categories, like general discussion, it works fine. Puzzling. Bob

Yes, been having similar problems for at least 2 days. Can log in, get into one discussion, but then can't go to another.

Yeah, it's been ongoing. Admins and moderators have alerted GB to the issue. I would let them know, too, but there isn't any "problem with forum access" category.
Seems that navigation inside the forums is working fine as you said. But once you try to hit the 'home' page, you're done for.
Best approach is to access the general discussion page directly and once you're in, don't go back to the 'home' page. That seems to be the culprit for some reason.

It took about 3 tries to logon with Firefox this morning, It would look successful, but show the howdy stranger greeting when I would try to go to a category. Finally straightened up.

yes it is a problem, we are aware but HQ is hard to get the fix, I can only access as said above, no going to the home page...

Problems here also. My wife was able to log in through google. That would not work for me. She hat me clear out "cookies" and then I was able to log on. After a bit I closed the forums, and again I had to clear cookies to get back on.

Yep..........happened to me yesterday.
Today I managed to get in via a back door........through dogpile search for old forum posts.
Tomorrow??????........we'll see.

Ok Iām totally lost on this, in fact Iām not sure how I even got here. I typed in on google: is Gunbroker form shut down today, found this link I guess you call it. When it comes to computers Iām not very savvy. You say HQ has been notified I guess I will rely on them to fix the problem.
Well if Iām not able to even get back to this point again, or theyāre not able to fix the problem, itās been fun talking with you in the past and wish everyone the best. Lol.

Ok back on my phone with help of the wife, but still confused.
3rd. Edit. Wife said the problem is, where Iām afraid to touch something, she just goes ahead and pushes the enter button. Now I will get on the main computer up stairs and fix the problem. I hope!

In that Google search, type in Gun broker general discussion. When you tap that result, it will take you to this part of the forum, bypassing the home page. From here, use the navigation links in the box on the right to get to the other categories. Do not hit the link for the home page or you will have to start over again. Easy peasy. Bob

Once I got back to GD I clicked on 'Categories' in the upper left part of the page and that got me to the 'Home' page. I bookmarked that page and now click on that to get back to GB. I deleted the old bookmark that no longer worked.

Good one @NeoBlackdog that seems to be the only way to get to the "home page" by selecting "Categories" since all links I've tried to the "Home" gets the error. You get a Promote!

Just a friendly reminder, there is a Facebook group called āGunbroker Forumsā that was set up in the event the forums one day die unexpectedly and we can at least tag up together.
