My surgery
Tomorrow I have a couple of pre op appointments. I will also check in with the doctor to make sure I'm well enough. Been on antibiotics since Thursday. My surgery is February 14th at 2:00 PM PST I check in at Noon, I stay the night then I will go to uncle Ralph's for a couple of days to sleep in peace. Please pray for my mom and dad. My mom wanted me to cancel but then my surgery would be 6 months out...
One of you asked that my family would check in with you all. My mother would be too scrambled lol do it, the designated family member is our good friend Dave AKA @TRAP55

In 2018, I had to have a blood clot removed
(very long story). Before they procedure, they gave me a George Floyd dose of fentanyl and it left me in a fog for a few days. Take your time getting back on your feet.3 -
I knew you would come through in good shape. Very happy to hear from you.

Could you all please pray for my dad and mom. It's pouring rain here and dad is doing all the chores. I feel so helpless.

I've been thinking of you & your family as I look at the weather there. Take care & TRY to have Dad space out the chores.

I'm doing great... In fact I'm wonderful, except being sore.
Anyway, my surgery was 3 hours long it should have been 2 hours. The first thing I said as I was waking up is : The tumor is gone! I guess I was in worse shape than I thought... My intestines were messed up by the endometriosis scar tissue and also the 2 urinary tract infections were from scar tissue. I didn't eat anything for 36 hours because my doctor was afraid something had torn and I would have to go back in to surgery the next morning.... They took wonderful care of me. I came back to uncle Ralph's and passed out for 2 hours. I finally got to see my Lad and Bobby when my mom and dad came over with Westside pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple with jalapenos)
I can't stop Praising the Lord
I could have never gotten through this without my gun forum family β€οΈβ€οΈπ₯°π
I just got in. By googling what happened to the GunBroker forum?
Fantastic news!
I'm sure you have a longer recovery time than you expected....its typical to feel better at first, but then all the medications wear off and you realize how bad you really feel. Take it easy, be good to yourself.

I'm taking the minimum of medication πβ€οΈ... I'm beyond thankful. If I could I would make cupcakes for the short stay, surgical staff and the nurses that took care of me. The hard part is I can't lift anything over 10 pounds for 1 month and no bath in a tub for 6 weeks.

I love it when patients and their families thank us with yummies.

I can't believe it.. it's almost been 2 weeks. I see my doctor tomorrow at 1.00. I can't wait to tell him how good I feel, I almost feel 20 pounds lighter from being able to go to the bathroom properly and NO medication!!!

Good to hear your feeling well

So glad to see you are recovering so quickly. You'll be back in the saddle in no time!

Well, besides telling me what I knew... That I had terrible π endometriosis scaring everywhere... But he wanted me to know there wasn't any cancer... I can row my boat at the 6 week mark (4 weeks from now). Also he wants to see me in 6 weeks and he wants blood work. Because he feels my weight gain is related to the problems I've been suffering from.
The Lord is good.
From basket case to right where the Lord wants me.

That's great news Rae. Just don't let the puppies jump on you for a while yet. π
