How Does This Rail Fasten On A 1911 Dust Cover?
Seems to me it would need holes drilled in it, right?
Or maybe it clamps on?
I don't want to remove it; I want to know what it will look like if I do. Thanks.

There will be three threaded holes in the dust cover.

Drilled and tapped then gooped up with JB Weld under that to keep it down in place.

Agree, only problem is one slot. Obviously the frame has been drilled and tapped.

The one slot was like the first gen rails for the light like 1990. Reminds me of the light the HK USP clamped on.
