The U.S. Navy Is Sinking in the Sand
A long-term campaign against Yemen's Houthis will undermine America's struggling navy where it's most needed.
Read down to about the 8th paragraph where they cover the status of cruise missiles.

Have read many reports that place total personal at closer to 6,000 than 5,000 mentioned here on aircraft carriers. Horrific to think of one going down when compared to Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Center. Probably vulnerable in some locations. Most likely would be a WW3 incident. ------------------------------Ray

Well, nothing like telling the enemy what are capability is. I like to know things as well as the other person, but some things shouldn’t be made public knowledge. Apparently the defense department has forgot the old saying.
LOOSE LIPS SINKS SHIPS.

Nothing wrong with the Navy collectively. Problem is leadership at the CINC level and lack of money & support for modernization.

I would agree about the Navy I was in 50 years ago. I do some part time work at a MEPS station. The Navy s now taking new recruits who score a 10 or above on the ASVAB. The ASVAB is a 10th grade level test.

The Navy should do psy-ops "Apocalypses Now" style blaring Village People's "In The Navy" you know diversity or use Yemen as an arti range.

Confused Biden looks lost as he wanders behind podium, stares at the floor as Jordan’s King Abdullah II speaks
A confused-looking President Biden paced back and forth behind King Abdullah II of Jordan Monday, apparently unsure of where to stand ahead of the royal’s remarks.Yes it is and it just gets worse every day.
