410 pump even auto guns are a bit scarce and always bring a premium

They probably only amount to 10% of the production number vs. 12 and 20 gauge. I just looked at an older one on the auction side that has a BIN of $2499.

I was thinking (and that in itself could be dangerous) that if you can afford .410 shells, the gun cost should never be a hinderance to you. 😁
I myself, when shooting my single shot Winchester .410 have to remember to make sure my pinkie finger is raised up a bit before pulling the trigger. 😁
