Sounds pretty cool you might say. But around here right now still the occasional replacing the battery in the heated vest.

I can see that working great. Pretty cool.

Not for me though, we don't have the high heat or humidity here, but we have shot off fireworks in a snow storm on July 4th.

You can use these for cold weather, too! They're made to store hot water as well, so you can boil a pot's worth of water and (somehow) pour it into these, then wear them to stay warm. Doesn't sound as convenient as a heated vest, to be honest, but the option is there.

You could fill them with water and then put them in the microwave, but you would have to turn it off just before they blow up !!

Although the MidWest heat isn't as bad as Southern heat, I don't have AC in the house and work outside 7 days a week regardless of weather. I can't imagine having something like that strapped to my body.😐️

Would only be of use to me if I had the straw and filled with beer, but I think I'll stick with the little ice chest that fits nicely in the tractor of just use my koozies and the beer in the garage fridge…

Larry might want one of those things just because "Alabama" happens here every summer.

Admittedly I was on the fence about these as well but after wearing them outside, the comfort of regulated body heat is well worth the initial adjustment period if you've never worn plates before. You uh… might get some curious looks if you wear an external plate carrier for others to see, though.

I suppose they protect against a bb attack too.

I'd settle for one of those ancient (1969) miniature a/c backpacks NASA had the astronauts wearing on the moon where the surface temperature is 400*, the packs also included, health data & radio transmitters, oxygen tanks / generators and no telling what else. (that is if they really went 😀)
