She adopted us about 9 years ago
got home a few minutes ago and discovered she won't be guarding the porch anymore looks like she died peacefully on her favorite rug

So sorry. We had a black Tom that showed up like that. He asked to go out on Easter evening 8 years later, never to be seen again. I think the coyotes got him, he was getting slower with age.

We have had several strays move in with us... Always hard to lose them. One was "Fluffy" she lived in the alley and in dad's shop and was taken care of by the local "cat man" Paul who feeds and spay and neuters all strays and ferals in our little town. One day when she was too old to be out she literally moved in the house. We loved her very much.... RIP❤️🙏 We had about 3 move in like that but Fluffy ruled like a Queen 👑

She was the only cat that I ever had that would come greet me every night at the car when I got home from work. I figured something was wrong when she didn't meet me at the car last night.

We're on our fourth inside feral cat. Been inside for about a year now. Took forever to get it to even come inside. Now it's worse than a puppy! Follows me wherever and always rubbing and pawing at my pants legs. Curls up in my lap where ever I sit down. Sorry my friend.

4 years ago our border collie adopted a stray cat Zoe, she's spayed and friendly to us but she won't come inside. We worry but we feed and water her and the dog considers her a pack member.
